Stevie Green of Fayetteville State Named CIAA Offensive Back of the Week

Fayetteville State University redshirt freshman running back Stevie Green (Washington, NC) has been named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Offensive Back of the Week for the week ending September 4, 2016. Accolades were voted on by CIAA Sports Information Directors Association and the Football Coaches Association.

Green made his 2016 debut with 136 yards rushing off 19 carries against Chowan. He averaged 7.2 yards per carry and broke for his longest run of 32 yards. Green is the only Bronco to receive weekly honor in the first week of the season.
