Ayana Keels Participates in FSU Study Abroad Program

2016 Aug 24

The FSU Study Abroad Program provides opportunities for students to study in selected foreign countries while receiving college credits and exposure to international cultures, languages, academic disciplines and more.

During Summer Session II 2016, July 11-August 5, under the leadership of Drs. Lee Brown and Jennifer Bushelle-Edghill, Ayana Satreyll Keels was involved in a study abroad experience in Barbados. Ayana was involved in research study examining the relationship between emergency department processes, healthcare outcomes, and information systems.

The FSU Study Abroad Program allows students to develop an understanding and appreciation of people from other countries and improve cross-cultural competencies along with global literacy and awareness. At FSU, it is our belief that one of the best ways for our students to prepare themselves is to visit and learn in different parts of the world.
